Cape Town welcomes you!
Allergy Society of South Africa Conference 2026
13 - 16 August 2026, Century City, Cape Town, South Africa.
The Allergy Society of South Africa invites you to the national conference themed “Where Allergy Meets Non-Allergy.”
This meeting reflects the evolving reality of clinical practice, where allergic disease sits at the intersection and interacts daily with respiratory, environment and occupational health, as well as skin, mental, endocrine, metabolic and gut medicine. The conference will feature traditional focused plenary, named lectures, but have expanded expert panels and highly interactive case-based sessions to improve audience interaction and ensure both scientific and practical questions are addressed to improve patient care. Tracks will cover skin, lung, food and occupational allergic disease, as well as inborn errors of immunity.
We are excited to also offer a full day of pre-conference workshops which will include a World Allergy Training School with several international faculty organised by the World Allergy Organisation, the ADAPT3 penicillin allergy de-labelling programme specifically targeting non-allergists to improve South Africa responses to the antimicrobial resistance crises, and the usual favourite of an advanced inborn errors of immunity workshop. ALLSA 2026 will conclude with an ethics workshop, offering reflection on equity and responsibility in allergy care.
Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any further information or assistance.
We look forward to welcoming you!
On behalf of the Conference Organising Committee
Professor Jonny Peter
