Abstract Submissions (closed)

All presenting authors are required to register for the conference and pay the registration fee by 30 June 2026. Authors who are unable to attend may ask a colleague to present on their behalf. If you or your co-authors are unable to attend, please notify the Conference Organiser to withdraw your abstract so that we may give others an opportunity to present.

  • Authors are requested to follow the instructions clearly.

Note: All visuals shown must have informed consent. Speakers must declare a conflict of interest before starting their presentations.

ABSTRACT FORMAT

Maximum of 250 words in MS Word.
Font: Arial 10pt. No graphs, figures, tables, or diagrams permitted.
Language: English (Poorly written abstracts will not be accepted)
Abstracts must contain:

  • The names of all authors (first name and surname)
  • Affiliations of all authors
  • E-mail address of the corresponding author
  • Mobile telephone number
  • The title must define the topic, be concise (excessively long titles may be shortened at the discretion of the organising committee), and contain no abbreviations
  • The text should cover the background/hypothesis, objectives, method, results, and conclusion. An adequate description of the methods and results is a prerequisite to being considered. Abstracts must contain results
  • In the text, only standard abbreviations need not be defined. Non-standard abbreviations and acronyms must be defined on first use

Abstracts received after the cut-off date; incomplete abstracts; abstracts without affiliations of all authors, abstracts without full contact details; abstracts in excess of 250 words, and abstracts containing figures or tables will not be published.

Kindly divide your research abstract according to the following headings:

  • Introduction
  • Objective
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

  • Please use the format provided below, e.g., use bold, sentence-case text for the title of the abstract, the corresponding author’s email address should be provided in italicised text, and section headings should be bold text.
  • Stick to the sections as provided and limit the abstract to 250 words, if possible.
  • Please use superscript numbers to indicate author affiliations. All affiliations should contain the name of the department, faculty, university, city, and country.
  • Please provide abbreviations in full at first mention – e.g., menstrual hygiene management (MHM)

ACCEPTANCE

Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee who reserves the right to accept and allocate abstracts for either poster or oral presentation. Presenters will be notified by 30 June 2026. If their abstract has been accepted. All presenters of accepted abstracts must be registered as Conference delegates.

ORAL PRESENTATIONS

The official language of the conference is English. There will be selected oral presentations.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Posters to be displayed at the conference on physical posters and/or electronic screens within the expo area. Full details for the preparation of the poster will be included in the abstract acceptance letter.

PUBLICATION

ALLSA Abstracts (with the author’s permission) will be published in the ALLSA Journal: Current Allergy & Clinical Immunology.

The final decision regarding acceptance of the abstract for publication rests with the Editors of the Journal.
