Pre-Conference Workshop: World Allergy Training School Workshop

Thursday 13 August 2026 - Limited to 50 attendees per workshop

EARN 7 CLINICAL CPD POINTS

The World Allergy Training School (WATS) comes to South Africa on August 13, offering a focused, practical update in the fundamentals of allergy care. Designed for primary care physicians, general practitioners, and allied health professionals, this one-day programme brings together an international faculty including David Stukus (United States), Dana Wallace (United States), Elham Hossny (Egypt), and regional expert Evelyne Ng’ang’a (Kenya).

The CPD-accredited programme will cover core topics such as asthma, atopic dermatitis, urticaria and angioedema, anaphylaxis, and drug and contact allergy, with an emphasis on diagnosis and first-line management in resource-relevant settings. Interactive workshops will provide hands-on training in inhaler technique, topical therapies, nasal sprays, sinus irrigation, and patch testing. WATS aims to equip clinicians with practical, evidence-based skills that can be immediately applied in everyday practice, improving patient outcomes across a wide range of common allergic conditions.
